Today there are more marketing options available than ever before. Sometimes it can be hard to get a good grasp of everything.

This graphic is one I made to try to illustrate different forms of marketing and how they interact. Notice also how central a website is in all of this. Naturally it’s the hub for your social media and web promotion marketing, but it’s also an important part of all other marketing.

Why do I want to advertise my website and not my business directly?
Naturally, you want to do both. But remember that a lot of people are more likely to go to your website for information than they are to pick up a phone to call you or to come to your office. Once they arrive on your website, your site needs to be attractive, full of useful information, and with very clear ways of contacting your company directly.
