Case Study - Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!)

The Problem
BARC came to us with several website issues. They had their content spread across two different sites. Their sites were not fully editable, and this prevented them from utilizing their sites fully. They had no way of listing pets directly on their site. They also had issues with their e-mail hosting.

Our Solution
We consolidated their site into one modern looking website with a custom design. The site is built on a powerful content management system which gives BARC the ability to easily update all the content of their site, and add new pages as needed. Their site currently has 125 pages. Some features include:

• Customized pet listing system with the ability to add unlimited information for each pet, including pictures and videos.
• Event Calendar
• Social networking integration
• Dynamic slideshow on homepage for featured content

The Result

• The new site was launched in March of 2010.
• Traffic has increased to over 30,000 monthly page views on the website.
• Over 10,000 page views on adoptable galleries
• 166 dogs and 141 cats adopted out in 2010. Check out the gallery of completed adoptions.
